Thank you for taking a little time to check out my work and allow me to introduce myself.
Being a creative in this industry for 13+ years has provided me with endless challenges and opportunities to learn, teach and collaborate with people from all walks of life. At the end of the day, that is my favorite part.
Whether I am digging into the work myself, consulting, collaborating with or directing others, I enjoy every aspect of creative problem solving. I am well-versed in the fast-paced agency life, with tight deadlines, even tighter budgets, and many projects flying around at once - that’s where the magic happens.
NAU-CAL is a community of accomplished teachers, scholars, students, and artists. The college consists of the Kitt School of Music, School of Art + Design, and six departments (Cultural Comparitive Studies, Global Languages & Cultures, English, Theatre, and Philosophy), I was tasked with creating an identity that shares the essence of who they are - creators, connectors, advancers, storytellers, debaters, critical thinkers, and most importanly, rebels.
Designing planograms and graphics for Festool involved careful consideration of both aesthetic appeal and functionality to effectively showcase Festool products in retail spaces. Working closely with the Festool team, I established the arrangement of products on shelves to optimize sales and enhance the customer experience. This ensures proper installation of graphics and signage to maintain brand consistency and visual appeal.
Additionally, I created compelling graphic and photo treatments for the Festool bays, elevating visual storytelling and brand immersion within retail environments. This enhances product presentation and conveys key messaging effectively.
By far the most meaningful work of my career. A company that is truly doing good in the community and creating employment opportunities for some of the hardest working folks I have ever met. The project started as a full rebrand and grew into a complete exploration of identity.
I worked closely with the Creative and Art Directors to establish a simple and straightforward design system that is rooted in their logo. Their new identity empowers their employees and makes them feel as proud as they should. They are truly remarkable.
The Partners Group is the largest independent brokerage in the Pacific Northwest. They were rebuilding their website recently and approached me to create a large set of illustrations that celebrates the culture they have created and aligns within their brand.
We ended up with about 40 illustrations in all, each representing a different market or aspect of their business. A select few are shown here (you can see more HERE). I love how they all came together and can’t wait to see their finished website.
Who doesn’t love tacos? Crafting menus and ads for Belair Cantina was a flavorful journey blending design expertise with a passion for Mexican cuisine. From mouthwatering food photography to witty ad copy, each element was meticulously crafted to reflect the vibrant spirit of the restaurant while enticing customers to indulge in their taco cravings. With a focus on creativity and attention to detail, my designs helped elevate the Belair Cantina brand, driving customer engagement and satisfaction in every bite.
Colleen and Aaron got in touch with me after purchasing an old winery in the rugged beauty of the Driftless Area of southwestern Wisconsin. If you’ve never visited, it is more than worth your time. They wanted to capture that feeling of endless beauty in their branding. Standing at the top of their property, looking out over the rolling hills that never seem to end.
It’s been a busy year for them with 40 SKUs of wine, fresh merchandise, and a new line of ciders coming out next year.
Speed Queen is the undisputed leader in commercial laundry. As part of a full rebrand, I established the catalog layouts, photo treatments, and other graphic elements.
I think every designer has a personal bucket list of things they would love to design in their career. Working on beer packaging was definitely one of mine, so being able to design an entire system for Hinterland Brewery was a dream come true.
This design system utilizes strong typography, unique textures and elements,
a dynamic family of colors, and enough freedom for future designers to create a personality for each new brew. As with many projects, I learned an incredible amount and met so many wonderful people along the way.
Thank you again for your time.
If you have any questions or would like to see more of my work, don’t be shy!
I look forward to hearing from you.
